Haunt-O-Rama (Poem)

Halloween! The most wonderfully, ghoulish time of the year has come and gone, but lets not allow that to deter us, shall we? Here's another fun, Halloween poem by me in the style of a holiday brochure (last years can be found here).

HAUNT-O-RAMA

Welcome, one and all,

to the scariest place on Earth.

Opening this fall,

on what's know as "Devil's Turf",

a haunted house,

full of ghosts, spirits and demons,

invites you to be doused

in it's spooky, spectral fun.

Constructed by the greatest minds in the paranormal field,

these impossibly hard to find ghosts were contained, and sealed.

No longer terrorizing the homes they occupied,

now victimizing those along for the ride.
 

Bare witness to the Djinn,

a spirit of absolute power,

but be sure you've never sinned,

or your wishes could be sour.

Duck for cover at the Poltergeist,

it's aim can go far.

Watch that your head isn't sliced,

we don't insure for scars.

Look! Over There! It's Shadow People!

Match their speed if you dare,

you wouldn't want to appear feeble.

Ready to tap into your deepest fear,

and leave you trapped in its infernal cell.

of our ever popular "Celebrity Night"!

See the stars arise once more,

as they take to the stage and entertain on the dance floor.

Of course, not all our ghosts like to stay in their confines.

They prefer to make the most of their freedom,

their mischievous pranks are a clear sign.

But with the latest in thermal imagery,

and state of the art ghost capture devices,

you and your family can hunt any that flee,

and win an "All Season Pass" to avoid

those rising prices.

Located at the old Langsford estate,

with its own tales of hauntings,

our phantom inhabitants cannot wait,

to share and experience your jaunting's.

A frightfully good time for all ages,

that'll leave your family in awe.

An increasingly, eerie pleasure unseen even by Sages,

is exactly what "Haunt-O-Rama" lives for.

Just make sure you stick to the guide.

The property still has its share of surprises,

we wouldn't want you left behind,

and remove your physical disguises.
