DAY 8 of my 13 Halloween themed poems is upon us. "Teresa Gritch" is revealed to be a witch, resulting in her death by the paranoid townspeople. Little do they realise, that's the least of their worries...
Enjoy!
Check out the other DAYS, and relive the horror here; Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6 and Day 7.

TERESA GRITCH
Teresa Gritch,
was born a witch,
in 1676.
Burned at the stake by a snitch,
and left to die in a ditch.
Teresa Gritch
was born a witch,
and in her bag of tricks,
death could not hold this bitch.
Such news gives a twitch.
Teresa Gritch
was born a witch,
to the goddess Nyx.
Her revenge is swift, and rich,
all your children she doth pinch.
Teresa Gritch
was born a witch,
the hateful little minx.
Gives good reason for a lynch,
her ride to hell to hitch.
Teresa Gritch
was born a witch,
a hundred years to fix.
Her name causes those to flinch,
like a disease, back in a cinch.
