The Halloween Man (Halloween Poem)
DAY 13 of my 13 Halloween themed poems! This is it! The day has finally come. Halloween is upon us. The one day where the dead are remembered, as our world and their world is merged. Children will be dressed up as their favourite monsters (to ward off evil spirits, of course), knocking on doors for rewards of their brave efforts, and I give you all a treat myself.
Considering this is the last Halloween poem of this year, I wanted to end it on a high note, though a very short one. But what it lacks in length it makes up for in scares. Hey, less is more right?
Enjoy!

So what's it about? "The Halloween Man" is a mythical creature who enforces the rules of the spooky season by trick or treating. If he knocks on your door, be ready to hand out treats...or else.
This poem is designed to sound like a nursery rhyme, to give it that extra creepy feel.
Enjoy!

THE HALLOWEEN MAN
Halloween Man, Halloween Man.
Answer the door as fast as you can.
Give him candy, give him treats,
or the devil you will meet.
Happy Halloween, boils & ghouls!
